Tomáš KOČKO & ORCHESTR

They belong to the top of the middle-eastern European world music scene - they won the award ANDĚL ALLIANZ 2006 (Czech „Grammy“), in category "world music". Their CD POPLOR was for two months in TOP 20 of European World Music Charts! CD KOLEDA, which is connected with pagan habits of Christmas and was nominated as well.

Their music played on acoustic instruments sounds straightly and it has expressive strains and rhythmic background with elements of rock, doom metal, folk music and jazz. The lyrics are full of stories and the band has a good connection with audience thanks sophisticated and funny speeches between songs.

They appeared in festivals like European Broadcasting Union Folk Festival in Cork (IR), Rock for People, Colours of Ostrava, United Islands of Prague (CZ), Nowa tradycja (PL), Viljandi Folk Music Festival (EE), Le village européen des nouvelles musiques traditionnelles (FR), Ethnosfera (PL)... etc. all around the Europe. 

With the new album (release in spring 2011) with pagan thematic they plan a tour around Eastern Europe!
